What we’re Enjoying
Jay had a blast with the Washington DC metro Area Star Wars Collecting Club at a screening of the 40th anniversary of Return of the Jedi. Jedi is always a great film to revisit and it fills you with all the feels of being a kid again. Shua is enjoying an Apple+ musical and comedy series called Schmigadoon, starring Keegan-Michael Key and Cecily Strong. It’s a funny tribute to musicals of old. Season 2 is streaming weekly now.
Sci-Fi Saturdays/MCU Location Scout
Jay has updated MCU Location Scout with new locations from Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania. It’s a great rabbit hole to explore. And also, don’t forget to read his articles called Sci-Fi Saturdays on Retrozap.com
We celebrate the season finale of Enjoy Stuff by revisiting one of our favorite games, 5 Songs. Jay and Shua play each other 5 different songs that make them think of movies from the past. Play along and try to guess what movie the musical clip comes from.
Did you remember the movie? What songs make you think of movies? First person that emails me with the subject line, “You remind me of a song” will get a special mention on the show. Let us know. Come talk to us in the Discord channel or send us an email to EnjoyStuff@RetroZap.com

It’s a party! Jovial Jay celebrates his birthday by looking back at a sci-fi franchise almost 60 years in the making. Star Trek has given us so many movies and TV shows to enjoy over the years, and even been a source for positive social change. Set phasers to fun and Enjoy Stuff!

What we’re Enjoying
Shua had tons of fun at the Super Mario Bros movie. It had countless nods to the games over the years. The story and performances were very entertaining. It felt like a video game in itself. Jay finally headed to Middle Earth for Amazon Prime’s interpretation of JRR Tolkien in the Rings of Power series. He felt that it is a rich story with an epic setting.
Birthdays are fun when you are being entertained by something you Enjoy. And this year, Enjoy Stuff is digging into the Star Trek universe. Since 1966 the characters and stories of the franchise have given us so much to hope for in the future. But it has always been more than just “that sci-fi show”. It has also been an inspiration for social change about important topics. Today we can revisit all the past Treks, but also anticipate all the current and upcoming projects which continue to excite us. Set engines to warp factor 9 and come along with us.
Are you a fan of Star Trek? What series or characters mean the most to you? First person that emails me with the subject line, “Beam me up!” will get a special mention on the show. Let us know. Come talk to us in the Discord channel or send us an email to EnjoyStuff@RetroZap.com

What we’re Enjoying
Jay loves Bob Odenkirk, so he was for sure going to check out his new series on AMC+, called Lucky Hank. It’s not a lighthearted series, but it gets you thinking and has some great performances. Shua really liked the Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves. It’s a lot like a classic D&D campaign, plus a lot of fun.
Enjoy Rabbit Holes!
It’s our 100th episode! For all those shows we consistently find our way down rabbit holes. But this week we celebrate them. First, we reminisce about some of our favorite episodes and why we like them…and what they remind us of…and oh, I should fix that door hinge….Uh, sorry.
And then we play the game Rabbit Hole, where we finish the phrases of internet searches and try to fool each other. You can play along too.
Do you find yourself going down rabbit holes? And did you see that trailer on YouTube? And, oh, I should pick some stuff off Amazon. First person that emails me with the subject line, “Happy 100 episodes!” will get a special mention on the show. Let us know. What we’re Enjoying
Shua got his TechnoRetro action on when he watched the new Apple+ Tetris movie starring Taron Edgerton. It was a fun, dramatized version of the origins of the worldwide popularity of the legendary game. Jay tuned into Amazon Prime to watch Pinball: The Man Who Saved the Game. Who knew we almost lost pinball forever? Luckily, one guy’s love for the game brought the modern world’s attention back to the flippers, springs, and bumpers.
Laughter may be the most vital part of a human’s life and health! So join us as we talk about different kinds of humor, what we like, and tell lots of jokes along the way! There’s so many different kinds of jokes to make you laugh! Whether it’s an anecdotal story, a one-liner, or just your basic pun, everyone can use good laugh.
